How to Prepare

  • No fasting or special preparation.
  • All rings off before you arrive — this is not negotiable and we cannot cut them off.
  • Remove nail jewelry and any metallic nail products.
  • Tell us which hand.

Common Questions

Fingers and the palm are a hand study. The joint at the base of the palm is a wrist study. Describe the location when booking.

Standard polish and gel are fine. Some decorative nail products contain metallic flakes, which can cause artifact — remove those if you have them on the hand being scanned.
